Hero Gap Chart

Plots each selected car's running time gap to the hero car over the most recent laps. The hero's own line is a flat baseline at zero.

Reading the chart: a car ahead of the hero draws above the baseline, a car behind draws below it - matching how you'd expect "ahead" to sit higher on the page. (Under the hood the underlying gap value is negative when ahead and positive when behind; the chart's axis is inverted so the picture still reads top-to-bottom as ahead-to-behind.) Pit laps are marked with a dot on the line.

Optional ± reference lines (typically a pit-loss threshold) and yellow/red flag bands over the x-axis can be turned on from the panel's settings. How many recent laps are plotted is also configurable.
